For the outfitting of the apartment within the iconic Hadid residences, the interior design was conceived to reconcile the building’s fragmented and complex geometries with a tactile atmosphere. A bold palette, dominated by deep shades of blue, defines the living area, where an imposing bespoke black wood bookcase with rounded edges provides the backdrop for tailored velvet sofas.
The rigor of the light oak flooring serves as a material common thread, while a sequence of large mirrored oval apertures creates an architectural rhythm of reflections and depth, seamlessly connecting the spaces. The kitchen contrasts the purity of white volumes with the warmth of a monolithic oak island, while the design culminates in the powder room, where teal-toned walls and a sculptural washbasin create a refined contrast to the diffused luminosity of the main living areas.
