Villa Domus stands as a masterpiece of Rationalist architecture, where geometric rigor meets the power of the coastal landscape in a constant dialogue between interior and exterior. The project is defined by a solemn and luminous spatiality, punctuated by the use of noble materials and a color palette that evokes Mediterranean tones.
The main entrance is marked by a monumental, finely carved stone portal, set within a glass block facade that filters zenithal light. A dark stone staircase leads to the upper levels, emphasizing the verticality of the volume.
The heart of the living space is articulated through large, double-height halls, characterized by black-and-white checkerboard marble flooring and expansive ribbon windows with turquoise frames that frame the sea. The dining area and the study maintain the same material consistency, where the warmth of the parquet flooring is paired with collections of nautical models and integrated bookshelves.
The project extends outdoors with a Mediterranean garden that slopes down toward the sea. Stone-paved patios host lounge areas protected by wide arches, enriched by monolithic sculptures and wooden furniture. The journey culminates in a rectangular turquoise swimming pool, nestled among maritime pines and the raw rock of the promontory, defining a cultured and timeless way of living, capable of merging architecture, art, and nature into a single vision of excellence.
