For the renovation of this apartment within the historic Asnago Vender residences, the layout was completely reimagined to reflect the owners’ passion for 1970s clubbing culture. This influence dictates a bold palette of shapes and materials throughout the home.
The entrance features a custom curved metal and ribbed glass volume acting as both wardrobe and light fixture, paired with a monolithic steel kitchen. This leads to a circular velvet-clad vestibule that connects the living and sleeping quarters. In the lounge, a custom recessed bookcase provides the backdrop for Cassina Soriana sofas, while the primary suite uses mirrored partitions to hide a spacious walk-in closet. The design concludes with a dualistic approach to the bathrooms, where Mutina surfaces create a sophisticated contrast between dark, moody shower zones and vibrant, light-filled alcoves for the bathtub.
